Hi! We’re the hurtle committee. We are a group of parents who have or have had children at the Hathersage primary school. We organise the hurtle to raise funds for the school which, being a rural school which does not receive 100% funding, is much needed. We spend our time organising, baking cakes, serving tea, pulling pints, cooking burgers, putting up signs, tieing tape to trees, pointing, driving around, giving directions, handing out jelly babies, giving words of encouragement, getting permissions, washing up, putting up tents, creating play lists, applying plasters to grazes, smiling and generally being lovely. We hope you can come and join us on the day!
