Should I enter as a walker or a runner?
Use this page to figure out whether you’re better off entering as a runner or a walker and to see the earliest and latest times you can set off without risking missed checkpoints or getting to a checkpoint after it has closed.
Enter your estimated finish time
Here’s a rough guide to typical finish times:
- Walker: 4.5 – 8 hours
- Runner: 2 – 6 hours
Its very important that you scan your wristband at every checkpoint, it’s a key safety requirement.
If you enter as a walker but set off early and run, you are likely to get to a checkpoint too early. Failure to register at all checkpoints may result in disqualification. If you’re planning an early start with a faster pace, please keep this in mind. This page will make it clear who should be running and who walking so no excuses!
All checkpoints listed above have wristband scanners. There are food and drink stations (cakes, sweets, bananas, crisps) and the are drink stations (water, juice)
