The Hurtle is a fundraising event for Hathersage St. Michael’s Primary School. The entry fee goes to the school and provides much needed funds for making improvements. If you want to also use the Hathersage Hurtle to raise funds for something that is close to your own heart, we have resources to help: a downloadable sponsor form [PDF], and inspirational text to copy and paste into your justgiving.com profile.

[Enter text here to explain why you’ve chosen this particular charity to raise funds for].
The Hathersage Hurtle is a race across 20 miles of the finest Peak District countryside. Starting and ending in the village of Hathersage, the beautiful route uses the trails, paths and country lanes of the Hope Valley. But it’s not all about pretty views. It’s 20 tough miles of challenging terrain, with plenty of ups (more than 2,800 feet of elevation to be precise) and some very steep downs, and it will take all my strength and grit to complete the course. But with your support I’m determined to succeed and reach my target amount of [£..…] to help [your chosen charity].
I would be so grateful if you would think of making a donation, no matter how big or small. Every single penny is hugely appreciated and will help to motivate me up the hills.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you very much for your support.
